“Mama, there goes that man (coach)”
Mark Jackson has the 3rd most assist in NBA history, is the prime reason why the NBA instituted the ‘Five-second back to the basket rule’, and is now the head coach of the Golden State Warriors. Jackson signed a three year deal worth around $6 million. The 46 year-old has never coached at any level, but lets not forget, he did play 17 years in ‘The Association’.
“I fully expect, put it in bold letters, the Golden State Warriors to be a playoff team next year… If I did not expect that, I would not have taken the job, and I won’t minimize it with just being a playoff team. We are looking to turn the Bay Area upside down.” - Mark Jackson
